China Goldjoy Group Limited (“China Goldjoy” or the “Group”; HKEX: 1282) is supporting the ACCA Community Day hosted by The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) Hong Kong for the fifth consecutive year. This year, the Group has also formed its debut team for the rickshaw race held at the Chater Road Pedestrian Precinct in Central on 28 January 2018 (Sunday), further demonstrating its dedication to putting words into action and helping the disadvantaged in the community.

The charitable event has received strong support from various sectors across society. Officiating at the event was Guest of Honour Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong SAR Government. It also attracted hundreds of participants from accountancy firms, corporations, institutions and various other groups to the rickshaw race. Through the joint effort of the financial and accounting sector, corporations and community organizations at this year’s event raised more than HK$1.15 million and would be donated to three local charitable organizations for their projects targeting the disadvantaged. These organizations include the Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong, Hong Kong Alzheimer’s Disease Association and the Hong Kong Federation of Handicapped Youth.

China Goldjoy is committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility to society. As part of this commitment, we have been making donations to the ACCA Community Day for five consecutive years. This year, we went so far as to form a team to take part in the rickshaw race for the first time ever, hoping to arouse more public concern for the disadvantaged groups through this charitable initiative.
