On 23 December 2016, Building no. 4 of B&K Technology Town was completed. The completion of the main buildings in Project B&K Phase 2 took place 38 days earlier than the expected date of completion. The completion indicates a significant achievement on the stage work. The construction of the park entered an accelerating stage.

Construction of B&K Technology Town was divided into three phases. Phase 1 was mainly used for factories of new energy technology, building for research and development and dormitory. Construction of Phase 2 was started on 15 October 2015 and it was planned to serve as industrial support for Phase 1. The building main structure of Phase 2 was completed on 23 December, while the whole development project of Phase 2 is expected to be completed in January 2018. For Phase 3, Land Use Permit was already acquired and the construction is expected to get started in second half of the year 2017.

Guangming Phoenix City, where ShenzhenB&K Technology Town is located, is a new district in Guangming being the centre of political, economy, culture and finance, at the same time an important node on the industry axis penetrating Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and also an important entrance linking Shenzhen and cities in Pearl River Delta. Total area occupied by the project is 120 thousand square meters, with planned construction area 430 thousand square meters. Positioning of the whole project will be innovative enterprise development cluster, building an all-round industry ecological environment concentrating research and development, manufacturing, industrial chain integration, productive services, and business life facilities together as one in an innovative atmosphere, forming a new distinctive innovative technology park.
